As our countries celebrate 15 years of restoring diplomatic relations, it gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the Government and People of Grenada and on my own personal behalf, to extend congratulations to you and to the Government and People of the Russian Federation on this momentous occasion.
Throughout those years, our countries have enjoyed warm and cordial relations, and I am confident that this relationship will continue to strengthen, not only on the basis of the cooperation that exists between our two countries, but through the mutual respect and understanding that we currently share.
The reopening of the Grenada Embassy in Moscow and the soon to be signed visa waiver agreement are testament to the deepening of the Grenada-Russia relations.
Grenada looks forward to the further strengthening of ties between our two countries and simultaneously the enhancement of cooperation to our mutual benefit.
