Grenada to the Russian Federation and the CIS
Concurrently Non-Resident Ambassador (Designate) to
the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Kazakhstan,
the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Principality of Monaco
On April 6, 2017, Mr. Firer delivered copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov and became the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Grenada to the Russian Federation. On October 3, 2017, Mr. Firer presented credentials to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
From May 2018, Mr. Firer, serves as a representative of Grenada to the World Health Organization (WHO).
On June 21, 2020, Mr. Firer was appointed as a non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Grenada concurrently to the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Principality of Monaco.
On December 8, 2020, Mr. Firer was appointed as Ambassador for Peace by the Universal Peace Federation, an NGO in General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (UN).
Mr. Firer has over 20 years of professional experience in international business. During his professional career, Mr. Firer held senior executive positions in private equity, electronic transaction processing, wireless communications and technology companies.
Honoree of many awards in the field of entrepreneurship, including “40 Under 40” (2016), “Outstanding Leader” (2014), “Dealmaker of the Year” (2014) and “The Best Entrepreneur of South Florida” (2013). Recognized by Forbes as one of the 5 Incredible Entrepreneurs.
Founder of Unified Payments, a provider of payment processing services in the United States. From 2013 to present – executive chairman of the board of Net Element (NASDAQ:NETE), serves as a chairman of the board of directors of the investment firm, Star Capital, as well as a board member of several private financial and technology companies including board member of the St. George’s Club and the Eastern Caribbean Blockchain Association.
Conducts charitable activities (organized a foundation which assists children in need, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Chabad Center in Florida).
Mr. Firer is an Academician of the Russian Municipal Academy. Completed 72 academic hours course on International Relations (Russia’s Foreign Policy) at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs (2018). Studied computer science at the College of Technology in New York (1995) and business management at the University of Phoenix (2001).
