MOSCOW (11th May, 2021) – The Embassy of Grenada in Moscow expressed condolences on Tuesday over the deadly shooting in one of the schools in the Russian city of Kazan.
According to the latest reports, 8 people died and at least 21 were injured as a result of the school shooting in Kazan. A 19 year old man reportedly opened fire at school №175 at around 9:20 am local time earlier this morning. The attacker was detained. All those injured have been hospitalized including 18 children, 6 of whom are in intensive care.
It was announced that the families of the victims will be provided with all necessary assistance, including the financial one.
“Most sincere and deepest condolences to the families and friends of those killed during the attack in Kazan. I wish the victims a speedy recovery.” commented Ambassador Firer.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has declared May 12 as the day of national mourning following a horrific armed attack.
